Area of research

My research field is experimental plasma physics. I am currently a member of the PAX/APEX team
at Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, which is focusing on the first creation and understanding
of electron-positron pair-plasmas.

Research Experiences

  • Formatio and confinement of toroidal non-neutral plasmas at RT-1.
  • Interferometry and soft x-ray diagnostics of high-temperature plasmas at RT-1.
  • Cusp non-neutral plasma experiment at ASACUSA.
  • Flowing neutral and non-neutral plasma experiments Proto-RT.
