In the journal J. Appl. Phys, a tutorial article was published on the growth of fibrous nanostructures (fuzz) on metals by He plasma irradiation. This article describes the growth process and growth mechanism of fuzz based on experimental and simulation results, as well as the practical application for gas sensors and photocatalysts to help new researchers understand and start their research.
